#40 - Brake Safety Week

The CVSA held their annual Brake Safety Week August 25th through the 31st, and we’re discussing all things involved on this week’s episode of the Liquid Trucking Podcast.  Tank Asset Manager Alex Munoz will join us to talk about tank maintenance, communication, and the challenges involved in locating tank assets.  After that, we will speak to Safety Director Dave Blotzer to talk about Liquid’s CSA score, brake safety and safety in general, and just a little bit of college football!

#39 - Driver Feedback

Every company has room for improvement, but what sets Liquid Trucking apart is willing to take that feedback publicly. This week on The Liquid Trucking Podcast, we talk to five drivers and get their unfiltered feedback about the happenings at Liquid Trucking. We’re jotting down notes from drivers Larry Pacheco, Nathan Dobrenz, Mike Stanfield, and Ryan Stewart, and round out our interviews with quick appearances by Jason Eisenman. Whether you’re a new driver, or have been around the block with them, Liquid Trucking wants to hear it all - the good, bad, and the ugly.

#38 - Senior Driver Appreciation

Liquid has a fleet of well experienced drivers that we talk to on the show all the time.  What you may not know, is that some of Liquid’s most knowledgeable drivers are eager and ready to help you get out of any jam you may find yourself in.  Liquid drivers Dan Pijenowski and Polar Bear will join us to discuss their years of service for Liquid, how the company has evolved over those years, and how willing they are to help out the new crop of drivers.  After that, drivers Matt Kleich and Jason Krayenhagen join the show as tenured drivers with a few less miles under their belts.  Matt and Jason will talk about seeking help themselves as well as developing into  drivers who can help out the new guys.

When it comes to experience, Liquid Trucking has it in spades.  This week on the Liquid Trucking Podcast, we’re talking with former drivers that took up a seat in the terminal.  First up, we’ll hear from Barto Terminal Manager Chris Baltushis, and Driver Training and Development Leaders Beau Hanke and Cole Brown.  After that, we’ll welcome Safety/Fleet Coordinator Mike Wilson, Load Planner Chris Willenborg and Dispatcher Brian Cahoe.  All 6 of these office staff members spent significant time on the road, and we’ll discuss how that helps them aid Liquid Drivers on the daily.
