#12 - Who You Gonna Call?

This week on the Liquid Trucking Podcast, we’re asking who you gonna call?  Calling the appropriate contacts at the appropriate time can prevent a lot of extra work, so we’ll hear from Onboarding and Orientation Specialist Beau Hanke and Safety Manager Dave Blotzer on who to call when.  After that, driver Alex Shevchuk and his son Alex Jr. join us to tell some great stories about the things working at Liquid has made possible.

#11 - Marijuana Legalization and its Effect on Trucking

This week’s episode of The Liquid Trucking Podcast drives us down the highway of purple haze, as we discuss the changing landscape of marijuana legalization and its effect on the trucking industry.  First, we’ll talk with Recruiter Nick Meyer, who will help us understand what a recruiter is looking for when new drivers are applying, and how various drug and alcohol violations affect that process.  We’ll discuss some new regulations from the FMCSA on prohibited status, and finally, Safety Consultant from Safety Management Services Company Garett Larson joins the show along with VP of Safety and HR Jason Eisenman to talk about the changing landscape of marijuana legalization and the safety aspects involved.

#10 - Facing the Storm: Part II

In part 2 of our 2 part episode on Winter Driving, we chat with drivers Mike Stanfield and Damon Maravilla.  Damon and Mike talk us through their strategies for preparing for inclement weather and share some stories from the road.  After that, we’ll hear from drivers Chad Kepler and Matt MacKellar, who share some stories and some tips on being prepared for any situation.

#9 - Facing The Storm: Part 1

In part 1 of our 2 part episode on Winter Driving, we chat with driver Drew Hearn and Driver Training and Development Leader Beau Hanke.  Beau spent time in the oil fields in Alaska, and shares some great advice on driving in inclement weather, and Drew tells about a time he got in a little over his head on a back road.  After that, we’ll hear from drivers Tony Brown and Polar Bear, as they share with us some tips on keeping the shiny side up and keeping customers happy in the ever-changing landscape of hauling Liquid.

#8 - Driver Hotline: Stories From the Road

With every load in and drop off being slightly different, things can get complex for Liquid Trucking drivers.  On episode 6 of The Liquid Trucking Podcast, we’ll discuss the complexity of safety with Safety Director Dave Blotzer, VP of Safety and HR Jason Eisenman, and Director of Fleet Maintenance Nick Doty.  Then we welcome retired OSHA Area Manager, Safety Guru and host of the What’s The Hazard Podcast, Doug Fletcher, to talk about various safety related topics.
