#22 - Gearheads: What Drivers Drive - Part 1

This week on the Liquid Trucking Podcast, we’re kicking up our feet in the garage and talking about what Liquid drivers drive when they’re not driving for Liquid.  Tony Brown joins us first to talk about a bevy of project trucks, and then we welcome Matt Kleich to talk about his various whips over the years.  This is a fun one, and we’ll be back with Part 2 for sure!

#21 - Litigation in Trucking

This week on the Liquid Trucking Podcast, we’re digging around in the realm of litigation involving trucking companies.  Jason Eisenman and Marcus will first be joined by Dave Mullin from Fraser Stryker, who will bring us some mind-blowing stats about lawsuits involving trucking companies, and we’ll learn a bit about the life cycle of an accident as it works its way through the court system.  After that, Drew Lagow from Cox P.L.L.C. joins us to talk about a case that is still working through the system involving a mega-carrier and a nearly $100 million lawsuit.  Drew will also discuss some of the tactics defense and plaintiff attorneys use in these cases.  Finally, we’ll hear about some truck stops that hopefully aren’t too high on your list of places to stay the night.

This week on the Liquid Trucking Podcast, we’re bringing it full circle. We talked about the worst of the worst a couple weeks back, and now we’re discussing what Liquid Drivers think is The Best of the Best.  Liquid Drivers Alex Shevchuk, Tony Brown, Matt MacKellar and Drew Hearn tell us about the best places to drive, take a reset, touch base with nature and more!  Plus, we get a story about a Liquid Driver saving a town’s water supply just in the nick of time.

#19 - The Vendor Episode

This week on the Liquid Trucking Podcast, we’re going to hear from some people that make the day better at Liquid Trucking.  We welcome Kyle Hales, VP of Sales for EpicVue, to talk about all the awesome products EpicVue offers, and which of those Liquid utilizes.  After that, Polar Bear will join us to discuss his tips and tricks for watching TV using his EpicVue system, and how he NEVER misses a Kansas City Chiefs game. Finally, we’ll hear from VP of the Transportation Group for Cottingham and Butler Matt Ferris, who will talk about how Cottingham and Butler have formed a long lasting relationship with Liquid Trucking.

This week on the Liquid Trucking Podcast, we're discussing how you can stay fit on the road.  We'll hear from Eric Washkuhn and Dr. Nutter of Integrated Care LLC about various things that can aid in passing your DOT physical.  After that, Dr. Mark Manera from Offshift.ai stops by to share some tips and encouraging stories of fitness success OTR.  Finally, Liquid driver Alex Shevchuk is back with a fresh and healthy recipe you can whip up in your cab.

#14 -Drivers and Dispatchers: The Known Disconnect

This week on the Liquid Trucking Podcast, we're discussing driver and dispatcher relationships, and how they are formed.  General Manager of Liquid Trucking Josh Schmidt and Load Planner Tanner Bowman stop by first to talk about some of the miscommunication that can happen with drivers and dispatchers.  After that, dispatcher James Nuno and driver Drew Hearn discuss how they navigate working together, then driver Efrain Pena and dispatcher Cory Liles have a little fun walking us through their working relationship.
