This week on The Liquid Trucking Podcast, we’ll start off with some industry news and notes, and then we head off to South Sioux City Nebraska to hear from the staff out at Barto.  Chris Baltushis, Angie Reed and Cory Liles will join us for a check in with the Barto Terminal, where we discuss the state of union from their perspective, and get up to date on all things Barto!

This week on the Liquid Trucking Podcast, we’re pulling back the curtain on the Teenage Hotline!  Liquid Drivers Polar Bear, Matt Kleich, Wendell Yoder, Jason Krayenhagen and John Frey will join us all at once, to help us understand why their teenage hotline conversations mean so much to them.  We’ll also bring you the Top 5 Worst Top Ten Lists, according to Marcus.

#27 - Talkin' Tanks

On this week’s episode of The Liquid Trucking Podcast, we’ll hit some breaking news off the top, and then, we’re talking tanks. Who better to bring in than an industry leader in tank and trailer innovation?  We’ll welcome Wabash Director of Specialty Sales Adam Quinn, and Wabash Regional Sales Director Jordan Kastein, along with Liquid’s Operations Manager Gabe Schmidt, to discuss a full load of topics surrounding the tanks Liquid runs.  We’ll also hear from Liquid driver Tony Brown, who brings us a couple new recipes he’s made while on the road.

We’ve talked to a lot of great Liquid drivers on this podcast, and this week’s episode is no different. Everyone has a unique backstory, and we’ve invited 4 drivers to come on the podcast and share theirs. We welcome Liquid drivers Mike Stanfield, Damon Maravilla, Robert Sanchez, Rob Schroeder and Jason Eisenman to tell their stories about how they ended up with Liquid Trucking.  

#25 - The Immigration Episode

On this episode of the Liquid Trucking Podcast, we’re discussing the role immigration has played throughout Liquid Trucing’s history.  President of Liquid Trucking Roger Schmidt will join us to tell his family’s story of immigrating to the states and making their way to building the company that Liquid is today.  After that, we’ll talk to the President of Experienced Associates, Chad Hendricks, who walks us through how Experienced Associates helps place experienced and well qualified South African drivers with great companies like Liquid.

This week on the Liquid Trucking Podcast, we’re talking freight.  The market has been a bit wobbly lately, so we’ll dive into the subject with Jared Flynn from Bulk Loads.com, Nick Meyer from Recruiting and HR and Load Planner Tanner Bowman and hear their thoughts on the market and all the great things BulkLoads.com offers.  We’ll also hit some breaking news and tell you a story about a turkey flying through a truck windshield.

Do you remember where you were on March 15th, 2019?  Liquid Trucking remembers, because that was the day the 500 Year Flood wreaked havoc on Plattsmouth Nebraska and the surrounding area.  Roger Schmidt, Josh Schmidt, Gabe Schmidt, Evan Schmidt, Jason Eisenman, Tanner Bowman and Beau Whipple all join us throughout the episode to share their firsthand accounts of a flood so gnarly, we only see it every 500 years.
